In response to the growing challenges faced by consumers in the food and beverage industry – particularly individuals with food allergies or specific dietary requirements, PowerGate Australia partnered with our client to successfully develop an intelligent, AI-driven technology. This cutting-edge application seamlessly integrates accurate, real-time data on food ingredients from each restaurant, constantly updated under the supervision of nutrition experts. Combined with personalized information on individual dietary profiles, whether shaped by health, lifestyle, religion, or culture, the app can instantly recommend suitable restaurants with tailored meal options that perfectly align with the unique habits and preferences of each diner.

How we help our client

One of the greatest challenges we faced stemmed from inheriting a project mid-development, following the work of other agencies, which left us with numerous bugs and errors that needed to be fixed. In parallel, the rapid changes, often occurring daily, and the demand for utmost flexibility were top priorities to ensure timely upgrades and refinement of the product, in line with the fast-paced nature of our client, a dynamic startup.

To successfully deliver this product on schedule, we promptly conducted a thorough analysis to fully understand the project’s current state. Through this evaluation, our team recognized that Agile/Scrum methodologies were not suited to the daily changes required. Instead, we strategically guided the client, step by step, to adopt the Kanban Flow method.
